Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 1 cup active sourdough starter
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Your favorite toppings
    (pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, onions, bell peppers, etc.)

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Dough

In a large bowl combine:

  • sourdough starter
  • warm water
  • olive oil

Mix well.

Add flour and salt, then mix until a soft dough forms.


2️⃣ Knead the Dough

Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.


3️⃣ First Rise

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl.
Cover and let it rise for 4–6 hours (or overnight in the fridge).


4️⃣ Preheat the Oven

Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F).
If you have one, place a pizza stone in the oven.


5️⃣ Roll the Dough

Roll the dough very thin on a floured surface to create a thin crust.

Transfer to a pizza tray or parchment paper.


6️⃣ Add Toppings

Spread pizza sauce, then add mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings.


7️⃣ Bake

Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is crispy and golden.
