1️⃣ Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together:
- sugar
- oil (or melted butter)
- eggs
- vanilla extract
Mix until smooth.
2️⃣ Add the Sourdough
Add the sourdough discard and mix well until fully combined.
3️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl mix:
- flour
- cocoa powder
- baking powder
- salt
4️⃣ Make the Cookie Dough
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Mix until a thick chocolate dough forms.
5️⃣ Chill the Dough
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1–2 hours.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

- Roll into balls.
