Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork (or ground chicken / turkey)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 4 cups coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage & carrots)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Step-by-Step Recipe
Step 1:
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2:
Add the ground pork (or chicken/turkey) and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Step 3:
Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4:
Add the coleslaw mix (cabbage and carrots). Stir well and cook for 5–6 minutes until the cabbage softens.
Step 5:
Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir everything together so the flavors mix well.
Step 6:
Add sriracha if you like a little spice. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 7:
Turn off the heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Serving Idea:
Serve warm as it is, or enjoy with cauliflower rice for a low-carb meal.
