Ingredients (makes ~12 balls)

  • 1 cup (100 g) almond flour
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) almond butter (or peanut butter if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup (45 g) keto-friendly sweetener (like erythritol or monk fruit)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (to adjust consistency)
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla keto protein powder for extra protein

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients

  1. In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, protein powder (if using), and salt.
  2. Mix well until evenly combined.

Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients

  1. Add almond butter and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
  2. Stir well, adding almond milk gradually until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  3. Fold in sugar-free chocolate chips if desired.

Step 3: Form Balls

  1. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1–inch (2.5 cm) balls.
  2. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.

Step 4: Chill

  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to firm up.

Step 5: Store

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 1 month.
