Juicy Garlic Butter Sirloin Steak (High-Protein & Low-Carb)

Ingredients

  • 2 sirloin steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak
Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator about 20–30 minutes before cooking so they come to room temperature. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2: Season the Steak
Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried rosemary or thyme.

Step 3: Heat the Pan
Place a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat and let it get very hot.

Step 4: Cook the Steak
Place the steaks in the hot pan and cook for 3–4 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes for medium doneness.

Step 5: Add Garlic Butter
Reduce the heat slightly. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steaks for about 1–2 minutes.

Step 6: Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes so the juices stay inside the meat.

Step 7: Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
