Ingredients
๐ Spiced Lamb
- 300g ground lamb
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
๐ง Hummus
- 1ยฝ cups cooked chickpeas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 2โ3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Water (as needed for smooth texture)
๐ฅ Toppings
- Cherry tomatoes (halved)
- Cucumber (sliced)
- Fresh parsley
- Pine nuts (toasted)
- Chili flakes (optional)
- Warm pita bread
๐จโ๐ณ Instructions
1. Make Hummus
- Blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt
- Add a little water until smooth & creamy
- Spread in a bowl (make a swirl with a spoon)
2. Cook Spiced Lamb
- Heat olive oil in a pan
- Add garlic, then ground lamb
- Add all spices
- Cook 8โ10 minutes until browned and fragrant
3. Assemble Bowl
- Spread hummus as base
- Add hot spiced lamb on top
- Arrange tomatoes & cucumber around
4. Garnish
- Sprinkle parsley, pine nuts, chili flakes
- Drizzle olive oil
