  • 2 cups sourdough starter (active or discard)
  • 500 g chicken pieces (breast, thighs, or drumsticks)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.

Step 2: Make the Sourdough Coating
In a bowl, mix sourdough starter with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 3: Prepare the Flour Mix
In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and salt.

Step 4: Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken piece into the sourdough mixture, then coat it in the seasoned flour.
