Step 1: Soak the Oats
In a bowl, combine rolled oats and milk. Let them soak for 10–15 minutes so the oats soften.

Step 2: Blend the Oats
For smoother pancakes, blend the soaked oats slightly in a blender or food processor.

In a large bowl, add sourdough starter, egg, honey (or maple syrup), melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
