Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp erythritol or your preferred low-carb sweetener
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Step-by-Step Recipe (English)
Step 1:
Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2:
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
Step 3:
Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4:
Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
Step 5:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, and erythritol. Pour over the chicken.
Step 6:
Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
Step 7:
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top.
Step 8:
Serve hot, on its own or with steamed vegetables or cauliflower rice for a low-carb meal.
Tip:
For extra crunch, toast the sesame seeds lightly before adding to the chicken.
