Carb Cheese Taco Shells (Low-Carb / Keto)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Recipe

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Step 2:
Line a baking tray with parchment paper so the cheese doesn’t stick.

Step 3:
Make small round piles of shredded cheese (about 2–3 tablespoons each) on the tray.
Leave some space between them.

Step 4:
Sprinkle garlic powder and paprika on top for extra flavor (optional).

Step 5:
Bake in the oven for 5–7 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges become golden and crispy.

Step 6:
Remove from oven and let them cool for 30–40 seconds (they should still be flexible).

Step 7:
Carefully lift each cheese circle and place it over a spoon handle, rolling pin, or taco rack to form a taco shell shape.

Step 8:
Let them cool completely for 1–2 minutes so they become crispy taco shells.
