Ingredients

  • 250g ground sausage (chicken or beef)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works best)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust based on sausage)

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.


2. Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine sausage, sourdough discard, cheese, flour, baking powder, and spices.
Mix until everything is well combined into a thick dough.


3. Shape Balls

Scoop small portions and roll into bite-sized balls using your hands.


4. Arrange

Place the balls on the prepared tray, leaving a little space between each.


5. Bake

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
