Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini, sliced into rounds or half-moons 🥒
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter 🧈
- 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional) 🧀
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions (Detailed)
1️⃣ Wash the zucchini thoroughly under running water and dry them with a clean kitchen towel.
2️⃣ Cut off the ends of the zucchini, then slice them into thin rounds or half-moon shapes so they cook evenly.
3️⃣ Place a large skillet or frying pan on the stove over medium heat.
4️⃣ Add olive oil and butter to the pan and let the butter melt completely.
5️⃣ Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic and sauté it for about 30–40 seconds until fragrant.
6️⃣ Add the sliced zucchini to the pan and spread them out evenly.
7️⃣ Cook the zucchini for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally so they cook evenly on all sides.
8️⃣ Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and paprika, then mix well so the seasoning coats the zucchini.
9️⃣ Continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes until the zucchini becomes tender but slightly crisp.
🔟 If you like extra flavor, sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the zucchini and let it melt slightly.
