Sourdough Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sourdough discard
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

1️⃣ Cream Butter and Sugar

In a large bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.


2️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients

  • molasses
  • sourdough discard
